Dairy farmers across Jammu and Kashmir rely on healthy, well-managed cattle for their livelihoods. To support them, JKMPCL operates a dedicated veterinary network that works entirely on the field, close to the farmers, animals, and village communities.

Our On-Ground Veterinary Teams

  • Two full-time veterinary teams: one for the Kashmir region and one for the Jammu region.
  • Each team works six days a week and conducts two veterinary camps every day, adding up to 45-50 camps a month.
  • Every camp is designed to reach dairy farmers where they are, ensuring timely help and hands-on support.

What We Provide at Every Camp

  • Free Medicines:
    Essential treatments and preventive medicines are distributed at no cost to dairy farmers.
  • Cattle Health Check-Ups Veterinary doctors examine animals for common health issues and overall well-being.
  • Practical Guidance for Farmers
    Farmers receive advice on daily cattle care, early signs of illness, feeding practices, and steps to maintain herd health.
