National Milk Day is celebrated every year to honour Dr. Verghese Kurien, the Father of India’s White Revolution. For Jammu & Kashmir Milk Producers Co-operative Ltd. (JKMPCL), this day holds great importance because it celebrates the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our dairy farmers and cooperative societies.

This year, JKMPCL organised a special event to recognise top-performing societies, share future plans for the dairy sector, and celebrate the strong cooperative spirit that connects farmers and families across Jammu & Kashmir.

The celebration began with the felicitation of the Top 10 Bonus Holder Societies, who were awarded appreciation shields and bonus cheques. These societies have shown outstanding commitment by maintaining excellent milk quality, increasing production, and supporting their farmer members throughout the year.

Along with this, JKMPCL also recognised the Top 5 Dividend Holder Societies for their strong financial performance and efficient management. These societies played an important role in strengthening the cooperative model and contributing to the overall growth of JKMPCL.
